  1. Tom Kolb, 39", Depth Raider
  2. Gordie Shaw, 35", Spitfire
  3. Jim Laszewski, 33", Sucker
  4. Musky Pete, Secret lake, 29", Petertail
  5. Musky Pete, Secret lake, 27", Petertail
  6. Jim Jessup, Secret lake, 24", Petertail
What an absolutely beautiful weekend! The fishing was OK as 6 fish were caught. Nothing was caught on Palmer but there were a few follows and hits. Lunch was great with Gordie's Hot Chili and Sub sandwiches. Jim Laszewski got the special bowl of Extra Hot chili. Door prizes were given out and it was back to fishing on various other lakes.

Musky Pete and Jim Jessup hit "Secret" lake were we caught 24, 27, and 29" fish all on the Petertail. Gordie took over the lead with a 35" fish on a Spitfire and Jim Laszewski had a 33" fish on a sucker.

Sat around the campfire that evening and looked at the 10 billion stars in the sky!!! Next morning it was off to Big Lake for Jim and I.

Jim rolled a Musky on a sucker 1st thing in the morning and that was all the action we had. Tom Kolb came in with a 39" fish caught on a Depth Raider just before the tournament ended. Jim Jessup 24" which won smallest Musky.

The ugly bait, casting contest, and the follow up award will wait until the spring outing which Tom Kolb will organize. Contact Tom with any ideas for prizes or awards. Next spring marks the 25th outing for Musky Mania so let's make it the biggest and best ever. I have hats and trophies planned so far.
